I think we in government need Budget and Account Controllers, and not so called financial wizards.
I don’t think there is any degree in Finance.
We should get rid of sufix/prefix of “finance “ with designation.
We should do away with designations of Member, Director. Deputy and Assistant Directors and revert to long time system of the professional designations, as chief accountant, chief engineer, and so on.
Merging all cadres in common designations as Directors, Deputy Directors etc has concealed accountability.
